Tues, Jan 10 9a-Noon Expand Your Potential Kick-Off Event
We’ll outline the framework that we’ll be using for our program together. We’ll work on helping you learn about your potential, what is holding you back and ways to start to expand your potential. We will also get to know all the other participants and start to learn about the resources available to you to help you achieve amazing results in 2012.

Homework to bring to class:

1.  What are three defining moments or points in your professional career that would help others to understand you and your outstanding skill sets better?
2.  What is your Super Power (remember Jeff’s speech)?  If you had to pick one thing that makes you, you and is really unique, what is that?

Read the book, Switch

We will be working on you, your organization and the team you will be on for the program. We will introduce you to the book Switch and the concepts that were covered in this thought-provoking book. You will leave the retreat understanding more about leading change, teams and how you are going to work with a team throughout the program to help you reach your goals for the program.

What do you need to do to be ready for the retreat–we recommend reading the book Switch before 2/1. We will be sending notes from the book Switch but think you would really understand the concepts better if you invest time in reading the book.

We will also be setting your goals that you want to accomplish by 5/31/12 so come prepared to finalized your goals at retreat.

Wed, Feb 15 9a-Noon Building and Maintaining Your Tribe
We’ll cover the key areas for developing a strong professional brand for you (your executive presence) and the leaders of your organization through your website, photographs, video, and social media.  You’ll learn how to develop a PR plan and what role social media can play in your strategies.  We’ll help you create a plan for measuring your current customer experience and how to develop a customized plan to make it better and more profitable.

Then you’ll discover the tools and techniques that will motivate and hold them accountable for the highest level work product possible.

You’ll have learned how to get more things done and be more in alignment. Now it’s time for you to create a Big Hairy Audacious Goal (from Good to Great by Jim Collins) and how to lead the charge to obtain it.  You’ll learn how to create the excitement around it, motivate your team to be a part of it, identify the key areas of development for yourself and your key team leaders to focus on in the years ahead and finally, how to spot and develop future leaders in your organization.

1.  First things First to increase your sales      You’ll learn how to make the most profits by selling to one person at a time and why perfecting that process is critical before you move to any group presentations or mass media or internet marketing or advertising of any kind.  You’ll learn the key components to developing leads, following up, and delivering value statements to your specific persona.

2.  The Perfect Pitch
You will have the unique opportunity to practice your elevator pitch and get “blink” type feedback from the group.  You will have received information before the session on developing a strong pitch.

3.  The Secret Sauce for Successful Social Media
You’ll find out what works and what doesn’t in social media.  How to use it as a tool to engage and keep customers interested in your product or service.  How to use it for your company brand and your own.

4.  Media Buying Made Simple
You’ll discover the strengths and weaknesses of each of the media sources.  How to choose the right one and determine the value of what your buying.  How to determine the best price.  How to develop the creative to match the media source and what you should budget for radio, tv, or billboard.
