Thomas Becher

He’s a former reporter and editor, learning to love deadlines and understand how the media work. He’s communicated the successes of a major university. He helped a jet-engine manufacturer change the way it communicates to employees. He led corporate communications for a publicly traded cargo airline. And he’s communicated with media around the world for one of the nation’s leading airlines.
Today as a business owner and entrepreneur, he’s helping businesses of all sizes and industries, non-profit organizations and government agencies pursue strategic, results-driven, award-winning campaigns in public relations and advertising.

Thomas is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a master’s degree in newspaper administration. He has earned a Certificate of Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) from the Public Relations Society of America, a distinction demonstrating competency in knowledge, skills and abilities in PR.

Thomas is the immediate past president of the Blue Ridge Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. In addition for his passion for aviation, Thomas is a fan of hiking, kayaking and hockey, and is the proud father of two sons, Phillip and Andrew.
